Top Five Longest anime name

When I was younger I thought it would be cool to watch anime with really long names, just for the fun of it. These are the top 5 anime with the longest names I’ve seen. That I can remember at-least.

As with usual I will only include anime that I have watched all the way through at-least one season so that I can give an accurate description of each anime.

Spoiler Warning! While I try my best to avoid spoilers the best that I can I may include some spoilers in my descriptions of the anime so be warned!

5: Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.

Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.

Bofuri for short, or English BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense.

This anime is about a girl who is new to video games playing a new virtual reality MMORPG. One of the ones where through the mystery of future technology you can enter the game it’s self. She does not get stuck in the game, and can log out. However, the vast majority of this anime is spent inside the game. She is extremely new to games in general and very clumsy. However, somehow her clumsiness pays off.

She accidentally discovers strange game mechanics that normal people wouldn’t think of and accidentally discovers how to chain these mechanics to the point where even the game’s creators argue that “If she continues she might be worst than the final boss.” After several attempts to nurf her completely fail, they eventually decide to leave her be. This is because she becomes a sort of role model or goal for other players and becomes advertisement for the game. People begin buying the game just to see her.

This anime is all about comedy and does it very well. If you like OP MC’s, if you like comedy then this anime is for you! If you like isekai anime, while this isn’t quite in the genre it has a lot of similarities, good world-building and interesting mechanics and combos and attacks. Overall I would rate this anime an 8/10 so definitely give it a shot!

4: Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii Desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii Desu ka?

What’s strange about these weapons? The fact that they are all children.

These aren’t humans and can not reproduce but are instead man made biological weapons created to fight against the beasts, something akin to clones but not quite. His job as a security guard for weapons becomes a babysitting job. The only question is Will he be able to watch these child weapons be sent to their death fighting beasts, or will he reveal the truth behind his hidden identity in order to save them?
Overall I’d give this anime a 7/10 its a nice little watch if you are bored and you have the time. The concept is a little unusual but other than that the story and plot are pretty generic. I still personally enjoyed it quite a bit though.

3: Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…

Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta..

English title “My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom”

This anime is an interesting one, it’s another one of those video game isekai anime. The MC is trapped in another world which unlike other isekai is exactly like her video game world. This isn’t a generic isekai though. This isn’t an MMORPG but a dating sim. And she enters the body and story line of the Villain in the game. The thing about the villain is that she always either dies or is ostracized and banished from the kingdom at the end of the game, regardless of what rout the MC follows, the villains rout always leads to doom.

So what’s the difference this time? She knows the game and why this happens, being one of her favorite games she has most of the flags memorized and all she has to do is avert them. She doesn’t have to live her life as the villain does in the game making everyone hate her and going against the MC instead she can be nice and become everyone’s friend even the MC’s.

The thing is though, will she be able to pull it off? Will she be able to avoid her inevitable fate? Or will she perhaps become the MC and spell doom for some poor innocent girl who would normally be the MC?

Overall I would rate this anime an 8/10 because of it’s unusual plot. Though this isn’t that unusual for rom-coms it’s still a nice little twist on isekai anime and I would not mind watching it again. I might actually do that and you should too!

2: Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen

Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen

English title Ascendance of a Bookworm, Lit “Ascendance of a Bookworm: I’ll Stop at Nothing to Become a Librarian”

This is a neat little anime, also ranking in on my article about unique anime, you can read that one here. This anime is about a book worm who dies in an avalanche of books in the library. All she does all day every day is read. However, after she dies she is reincarnated in the body of a young fragile girl in a world similar to middle ages Europe. Anyone familiar with this time period will be able to tell you that books were not common or cheap, they were all hand written and made of animal hide, they were an expensive luxuries for the rich and powerful. Books were not something that just anyone could afford. So what’s a book worm to do without books?

Revolutionize the world, invent new method’s of making paper and ink cheaply and effectively and create a basic printing press to mass produce it all. Unlike other anime where the MC can do basically whatever they want because they are a genius this anime is different. The MC takes two years just to make a few sheets of paper. This anime displays trial and error on a scale that is very realistic, is separates instructions from experience in a way that other anime completely ignore. The MC is not perfect she is a normal human being utilizing her knowledge in a realistic way through trial and error. It’s a good watch that I would give a 10/10 so I definitely recommend it.

1: Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e

Longest anime name

English “The Misfit of Demon King Academy.”

In ancient times there was a powerful demon king and a human hero of comparable strength that fought a seemingly never ending battle. The hero fought against the demon king wiping out his army and weakening him but being killed and reincarnating numerous times continually repeating the cycle until one day the demon king tired of all of the killing approached the hero with a proposal. They would combine their powers and the demon king would sacrifice himself to build an enormous magical wall separating all races in the world. While he would die it would only be temporary.

After about a thousand years he is reincarnated and joins the demon lord academy, a school created by his most loyal servants to train the next demon king and to ensure that the lineage continues. Unfortunately after so many years of peace the quality of students dwindles. Now that the true demon king has returned his power is considered immeasurable. And while he could easily take the throne for himself, somehow someone has tempered with history it’s self and all memory of the real demon king has been completely erased, now only an impostor remains. Even his immortal servants have lost all memory of him. His best bet is to lay low and investigate until the impostor is revealed and he can finally set things right and claim his rightful throne.

The story in this anime isn’t that great to be honest, it’s like a generic isekai with an OP MC, but the MC isn’t from another world, just the past. Even though it shares a lot with the isekai genre. I would personally rate it an 8/10 just because I love OP MC’s and Isekai anime. The story by it’s self I would probably rate average at best. If you want to see a guy kill his enemy by literally doing nothing then this is the one for you!
