So far, the details we know about this one-shot is that it will be 87 pages long and will take place after the events of the original manga, showing Ryuk again here on Earth. The manga will also feature a color page.

The story will be released in Japan in the next issue of Jump SQ magazine , which arrives on February 4th. Unfortunately, it has not been revealed when the manga will reach the west or whether it will be available on Manga Plus, Shueisha’s official platform.

Written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, Death Note follows the story of Light Yagami, a brilliant high school student who ends up discovering a supernatural notebook that has the power to kill anyone who has his name written on it.

In addition to the manga published between 2003 and 2006, the work has already been adapted for anime and more recently even a live-action produced by Netflix.
