Through the official website for the adaptation of the Tamayomi baseball manga anime by Mountain Pukuichi, a new promotional image was revealed. The anime is scheduled to premiere in spring 2020.
The cast of the anime is as follows:

- Kaori Maeda as Yomi Takeda.
- Nao Shiraki as Yoshino Kawaguchi.
- Miyu Tomita as Kiyuki Kawaguchi.
- Haruka Yoshimura as Kyōka Fujii.
- Airi Eino as Risa Fujiwara.
- Yume Miyamoto as Rei Okada.
- Rina Kitagawa as Ryō Kawasaki.
- Marie Hashimoto as Sumire Fujita.
Staff members:
- Toshinori Fukushima (Major, Bakuten Shoot Beyblade The Movie: Gekitō !! Takao vs. Daichi) directs the anime at the Studio A-Cat (Pastel Life, Frame Arms Girl) animation studio .
- Touko Machida (Wake Up, Girls !, Harukana Receive) is in charge of the composition of the series.
- Koichi Kikuta (KonoSuba, Fruits Basket) is designing the characters.
Pukuichi launched the manga in the magazine Manga Time Kirara Forward of Houbunsha in April 2016. Houbunsha published the sixth volume of the book compiled manga, Sept. 12.
Synopsis of Tamayomi:
The story focuses on pitcher Yomi Takeda. In high school, his baseball club didn’t get very far because he lacked a catcher who could catch Yomi’s “miracle ball.” Yomi leaves baseball, graduates from high school and enters Shin Koshigaya High School.
Yomi meets her childhood friend Tamaki Yamazaki again in her new school. Tamaki has the ability as a catcher and can even catch the ball when Yomi throws with all his strength. Girls can fulfill their childhood promise, when they start their baseball trips again.
