One Piece is a shonen manga that has been in production for 22 years and continues firm and strong introducing us to Luffy’s adventure in search of becoming the Pirate King.
As, unfortunately, not everything that is good lasts forever, One Piece will one day need to come to an end and that day is getting closer and closer and many fans wonder what the end of the work’s story will be like and many speculate that Luffy may come to die like Gol D. Roger after discovering One Piece and, if that really happens, who would be responsible for the Straw Hat gang?
Today we answer.
It is very unlikely that Luffy will die after meeting One Piece and become the King of the Pirates, but if that happens, most likely the one responsible for the gang would become Zoro, who is considered the mate and Luffy’s right-hand man.
Not only because he was considered the mate and for being the first member of Luffy’s gang, but also because Zoro has shown us his loyalty over and over again, being willing to throw his life away for his captain’s.
Not only that, Zoro is the second strongest of the pack, only behind Luffy and every self-respecting pack needs a captain capable of protecting his crew. Even though Zoro is not the most intelligent in the world, he is clearly skilled and a pack protected by the best swordsman in the world (which Zoro will become), is certainly a pack that does not have to worry about enemies.
Many believe that the captain should be Nami for his posture of leader and bossy many times, but, as said above, a captain must be someone capable of protecting his subordinates and that is why Zoro is the best option even if I think the bunch could be undone if Luffy were to die.
One Piece tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy , a young man with rubber powers whose dream is to become the Pirate King, and their crew, the Straw Hat Pirates .
Altogether, the anime has more than 900 chapters divided into several sagas , and is still shown in Japan, being one of the most popular series of all time.
Currently, the anime is developing the arc of Wano , a country inspired by Feudal Japan and dominated by Yonkou Kaidou of the Hundred Beasts .
