What’s up guys? This week we see another thrilling new chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen with Mahito and Yuji dealing each other heavy blows! JUJUTSU KAISEN 131 Discussion:
Mahito has transformed into something new. Yuji understands and acknowledges that this is a very powerful form of his. Todo is out of commission as of now after battling Mahito last chapter and losing one of his arms. Mahito reveals in this chapter that he understood what his true form was after learning Blackflash. Yuji is surprised on hearing this as he didn’t think of Mahito as a quick learner. Mahito also tells Yuji that he will be reborn once he kills Yuji. Faced with a new, powerful Mahito, Yuji is unsure of what to make of the situation and how to defeat him.
Yuji fights Mahito and realizes to his shock that Mahito has become tougher and more durable. His body has evolved to be more hard and can now take more damage than before. Mahito is seen to be able to easily overpower Yuji in the battle. Yuji also concludes that Mahito has transformed into something much more powerful and has probably become a special grade plus curse now. He finally theorizes that Mahito gets weakened on getting hit by Blackflash and concludes that he needs to use Blackflash using all his cursed power to stand a chance at defeating him while knowing the fact that Blackflash doesn’t come to sorcerers willingly.
Yuji and Mahito battle it out with Yuji holding his own to Mahito’s surprise and not getting killed. Mahito mocks Yuji by stating that he thinks that they both have more fight left in them. The chapter ends with Yuji and Mahito preparing to land more blows on each other!
JUJUTSU KAISEN 132 Spoilers & Analysis:
We see Yuji fighting Mahito alone again. Till now, Yuji has been surviving against Mahito due to interference and aid of characters like Nobara and the extremely powerful Todo who’re both out of commission right now. Nobara is near death while Todo is unconscious. There are basically no characters left to come to his aid as of now except maybe Sukuna. Sukuna is not someone who will let Yuji die for obvious reasons so his being inactive is interesting.
Maybe Sukuna doesn’t feel that Yuji’s life is in danger yet. Or maybe he thinks that Yuji is about to have a breakthrough which might help him to win the fight. It is however a clear cut fact that Mahito will die of Sukuna decides to intervene in the fight.
From all the past chapters, the thing that is clear is that Yuji cannot beat Mahito alone. He couldn’t deal with a less powerful Mahito so it will be incredibly unreal for him to beat this extremely powerful Mahito without any help or a new breakthrough. There’s also Choso who could interfere in the fight. Choso was previously a victim of Yuji’s memory technique which will make him a possible ally for Yuji in the current fight. Mahito himself could become a vcitim of Yuji’s memory technique. It will be very interesting to see how that plays out!
