Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon slayer chapter 200 Recap (spoilers) :
Chapter 200 of Kimetsu no Yaiba. What a Chapter! Goutoge really knows how to rile up the emotions of the readers. This Chapter served as the finale for the long battle against Muzan. Muzan has finally died. After nearly a thousand years, the first demon has met his end at the hands of the Demon Slayer corps. The chapter begins with Muzan crumbling away under the sun and Kiria Ubayashiki giving orders to the slayers to treat the wounded. We see Himejima, who refuses treatment asking the medics to treat the younger Hashira, passing away peacefully in the company of the spirits of the young orphans he had sheltered.
We also see some very moving panels of Obanai Iguro cradling Mitsuri in his arms and the both of them confessing their feelings for each other and vowing to get married in the afterlife. Sanemi enters the afterlife to see his siblings play happily while his mom is stuck in what seems to be hell. His dad then appears and pushes him back to the real world where he wakes up to see the slayers treating a heavily injured Inosuke and Zenitsu. The biggest surprise and probably the most emotional moment was an injured Giyu realizing that Tanjiro has died and crying his heart out because he couldn’t protect him and apologizing to Nezuko while Nezuko runs to Tanjiro who is sitting unresponsive with a missing arm and a broken sword in what’s reminiscent of his mentor Rengoku’s death scene after his fight with Akaza.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon slayer chapter 201 PREDICTIONS :
With the battle against Muzan and the demons ending in Chapter 200. Kny Chapter 201 would possibly continue on with showing us the aftermath of the battle and how everyone’s dealing with everything that has happened in Chapter 200. Now, there are speculations about Tanjiro’s condition. While it’s been said that he doesn’t have a heartbeat or pulse, the fact that he hasn’t got any closure with Nezuko or Giyu or his other friends could be an indication that he’s not gone yet. There’s also the fact that Tanjiro is the main character of the series. It’s not unusual for shonen protagonists to come back to life through miracles.
In Tanjiro’s case, I would say, him coming back would be a cheap trick to pull since this is the third time he’s been said to not have a heartbeat in the course of this battle. Now there are also speculations that Muzan has hidden himself in Tanjiro’s body and hasn’t really died yet. Chapter 201 could turn out to be one hell of a Chapter with what the author decides to do with Tanjiro’s and Muzan’s conclusions. I would not be surprised if we get panels of Muzan being dragged into hell by those he tormented. This would then mean that we are possibly in the final five Chapters of this series. It would also unsurprising if Muzan makes a return and the author plans to continue the story owing to how popular the manga has gotten.
