Last weekend, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) were held and during the Leonardo DiCaprio gala he presented the award of honor to Robert DeNiro , for his long career in the industry and for being considered one of the best actors of his generation. In that context, the 45-year-old actor and activist took the opportunity to confirm that both will star in Killers of the Flower Moon , the new Martin Scorsese movie .
The film, based on David Grann’s book , will tour a series of murders in the 1920s in Osage County, Oklahoma, United States; also, a recent created FBI must investigate what is happening and what is the relationship that exists with the oil business. I want to explore “ something else, I want to show how people who commit genocide think, how they dehumanize people, ” said the director.
It is not the first time that DiCaprio, De Niro and Scorsese work together: in 2015 they made the comic short The Audition, where the two actors sought to work on a film by the director.
