Hey guys! In this post, we’re discussing chapter 195 of Kimetsu no Yaiba. This post contains heavy spoilers for the manga. So please stop reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon slayer chapter 194 (spoilers)
Chapter 194 of Demon Slayer starts with Yushiro and the two other demon slayers, one of which is Murata on their way to tend to the fallen Hashira and the other slayers. They come across Tamayo’s cat Chachamaru who’s in pieces after Muzan’s attack. Yushiro puts the cat back together revealing that Chachamaru was turned into a demon by Yushiro before the battle began. Note that this is the first instance of an animal becoming a demon in the entire manga.
Next, we learn that the most powerful Hashira, Gyomei is out of commission as he’s lost a leg and lots and lots of blood. Yushiro is afraid of Tanjiro not lasting against Muzan alone which is true as we see Tanjirou struggling to keep up with Muzan and is almost hit by Muzan’s attack but the Snake Pillar Obanai Iguro dives in to save him, able to dodge Muzan’s attacks with his snake Kaburamaru helping him, despite having his eyes gouged out. It is another interesting development as Muzan finds it surprising that an animal can perceive his attacks. But they still find it difficult to keep up with Muzan even though he’s getting weaker due to his aging. Just as all hope seems to be lost, scars of old wounds inflicted on Muzan by Yoriichi Tsugikuni appear on Muzan’s body to his and Tanjirou’s surprise. The chapter ends with Tanjirou planning to attack the wounds labeling them weak spots, to take down Muzan. Time left for sunrise: 50 minutes to 1 hour approximately.

We’ll probably see Tanjiro and Obanai’s battle against Muzan continue. Other slayers, except Gyomei, are also expected to join in after Yushiro finishes tending to them. Obanai has some serious death flags and we might see him getting killed soon as his wish was to die defeating Muzan.
