Hey Guys! We are going to discuss Chapter 200 of Kimetsu No Yaiba in this post. As usual, this post will contain heavy spoilers. So please turn back if you don’t want to be spoiled.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon slayer chapter 199 Recap (spoilers) :
Chapter 199 of Demon Slayer starts with the sun rising and a desperate Muzan, who’s pinned down by the slayers looking fearfully at the sun. Muzan throws off the slayers with another attack with only Tanjiro there pushing his sword into Muzan with one arm his other arm having been ripped off in the attack by Muzan. He struggles to turn his blade red and hold Muzan down when he’s helped by none other than Giyu. Giyu, in a beautiful moment of camaraderie helps him hold down the sword that’s gradually turning red. Muzan getting ever so desperate pulls off an ultimate transformation, that off a gigantic baby which then partially absorbs Tanjiro. Muzan then crawls away to escape when the young Ubayashiki orders the slayers to stop him.
The non-Hashira slayers try various things like dropping heavy items and ramming into the demon with cars and trams to stop him. He still tries to escape but is stopped in time by Gyomei holding him down with his chain while Sanemi, Giyu and Obanai continuously attack him with what’s left of themselves. Tanjiro’s red blade that he’s still holding onto inside Muzan is also aiding the pillars. Koyoharu Goutoge depicts the how desperate Muzan is to escape and how determined the slayers are to defeat him wonderfully in this chapter. The brilliant Chapter ends with Muzan screaming and finally starting to crumble away under the sun
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon slayer chapter 200 PREDICTIONS :
So we finally see Muzan crumbling. But is he really done for? Chapter 200 of Demon Slayer will address that. We also don’t exactly know Tanjiro’s fate? Did he survive or did Muzam absorb him completely? Considering the story till now, it looks like the Demon Slayer corps have tried everything in their power to destroy Muzan. But have they really taken him down? There are also speculations that Muzan is going to enter Tanjiro’s body as a last-ditch effort to escape. That sure would be an interesting development.
I think the next chapter would be the most awaited Chapter in the history of this manga. We also haven’t seen Nezuko yet. She was previously seen running to the battlefront while turning back into a human. So, it would be interesting to see where the author wants to go with bringing Nezuko close to the battle. If this was the end of Muzan, then we could see the manga wrap up in the next couple of chapters but that’s something that’s still being debated on. The author could very well expand the story by focusing on the origins of the demons and the Blue Spider Lily lore but again that would require a new set of characters as the present ones all have their narratives nearly wrapped up, especially our lead character Tanjiro.
