The second season of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken will be released in autumn

Through the publication of a promotional image, it was reported that the second season of the anime adaptation of the light novels Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken will be released in the fall season of this year.

The announcement did not include additional details, so it is not yet confirmed if the 8-bit studios will again be in charge of the animation as in the first season.

The first anime season premiered in October 2018, and featured 24 episodes, including an episode with an original story titled  Kuro to Kamen ; in addition to the compilation episode titled  Veldora Nikki .

Taiki Kawakami  released the first manga adaptation of the series of light novels written by  Fuse  and illustrated by  Mitz Vah ,  Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken , in the Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine of the Kodansha publishing house in 2015. Kodansha published the tenth volume on the 7th of December.

The next compilation volumes of the manga will include an OVA each, and will be released in the next dates:

  • Vol. 14 – March 27, 2020
  • Vol. 15 – July 9, 2020
  • Vol. 16 – November 11, 2020

Synopsis

The lonely Satoru Mikami is a 37-year-old man who is stuck in a job without a future, unhappy about the life he has achieved, however, after dying at the hands of a thief, he is reborn in a fantasy world … like a slime!

While adapting to your new existence, you will meet other monsters and together they will unleash a chain of events that will change the course of your new world.
