What’s up guys? So Chainsaw man dropped it’s latest chapter this week and we’re reintroduced to some characters who were thought to be dead as another major battle looms over Denji in Chainsawman 87. Read on to find out what happened this chapter and what might happen in Chainsaw man 87 but do make sure that you’ve caught up with the manga to avoid spoilers!
Chainsaw Man chapter 86 Discussion:
So we see Chainsaw man aka Pochita sitting in a burger joint and trying to order a burger for himself. Kobeni falls again and drops the burger but somehow manages to pick it up and give it to Chainsaw man.After beheading the guy who was rude to Kobeni Chainsaw takes her on a date as he remembers Denji’s wish to do so. A very reluctant Kobeni tries her best to be her best during this particular ‘date’ where she’s treated to ice cream and even taken dancing. They also encounter a devil hunter who unsuccessfully tries to help Kobeni, losing his head in the process.
As Kobeni dances on the break dance machine, doing splendidly too, we see Chainsaw man leave her there and go on to face Makima who’s returned back to life with a group of what looks like seven hybrids to capture and kill Chainsaw man. Surprisingly in this group is Reze, Denji’s ex girlfriend and the previously thought to be dead Bomb Devil, Katana Man etc. who all have returned to life seemingly as Makima’s puppets and are joined by four new hybrids.
They discuss among themselves about how they all love Makima and that she’s saved their lives numerous times and that whoever gets Pochita’s head will get to have a date with Makima. The chapter ends with the hybrids preparing to attack Denji as a revived Makima fanatic Quanxi also joins the fight.
CHAINSAW MAN 87 Spoilers & Predictions:
Chainsaw man 87 will probably see the battle between Chainsaw man and the hybrids. We still don’t know what Makima’s end game clearly is nor do we know what she really is and how she can be defeated. Fans speculate that the culmination of this fight might actually see her get eaten by Chainsaw man and dying for good. But since her death might mean Japan getting exposed to threats like the Gun devil again, it doesn’t like Fujimoto will go the Makima dying route.
We also don’t know what Kishibe is planning to do now that Makima revealed bits of her plan to him and his knowing that Makima is unkillable. Will he launch another attack or will he try to convince the Japanese Prime Minister to cancel her contract? It will be interesting to see how the story goes on henceforth.
Also confusing is the ultimate fate of the Chainsaw Devil and what really happened to Denji. Fans previously speculated that Kobeni could have brought Denji back but it doesn’t really look like the case now.
Fans also speculate that Denji might never come back as Chainsaw man is nearing it’s end which might be true considering the fact that Fujimoto’s previous work Fire Punch wasn’t exactly very long. There have been no confirmations from the author about whether this is the last arc so there’s still hope for us readers.
