The official Twitter account of the Darwin’s Game anime adaptation revealed that episode 5 will be delayed for a week and a compilation episode will be broadcast instead.
The Darwin’s Game anime is produced by the Nexus studio and directed by Yoshinobu Tokumoto (Comic Girls). Shuu Miyama, of FLIPFLOP, is in charge of the series scripts. Kazuya Nakanishi (animation director at Granbelm, Comic Girls) is in charge of character design. Kenichiro Suehiro (Re: ZERO, Golden Kamuy) is in charge of music composition.
ASCA (Fate / Apocrypha, music of Sword Art Online: Alicization) is responsible for interpreting the song for the opening «CHAIN». Mashiro Ayano (Music Composer of Fate / Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, Re: CREATORS) performs the song for the ending “Alive”.
Synopsis of Darwin’s Game:
“The story focuses on Kaname Sudou, a high school boy who is attracted to a mysterious game application titled “Darwin’s Game.” It is involved in a social game where what is at stake is life or death.”
