What’s up guys? we’re here to discuss my hero academia chapter 271 as MHA 270 brings us some shocking revelations, confirms a popular fan theory and finally shows us a glimpse of our main character after nearly five months. My Hero Academia Chapter 270 Discussion (spoilers) :
My Hero Academia 270 has some of MHA’s best panels ever. And these panels come in the form of Shigaraki’s dreams. Yes, the successor of the AFO is far from dead. And he’s dreaming about his family in a landscape filled with decaying buildings. In a series of beautiful panels we see AFO calling out to Shigaraki. And in a very similar sequence to that of Kimetsu no Yaiba’s climax, Shigaraki’s dead family tries to stop him from going to AFO. But Shigaraki doesn’t pay any heed to them and walks towards AFO who’s seen using Kurogiri’s quirk and welcoming him.
In the real world, Ujiko, who’s being arrested by Mic, reveals how he was the originator of the famous quirk singularity theory and was ostracized for the same. He also reveals that AFO was the only one who believed him and offered him support. We also learn that Ujiko has a longevity quirk, he’s 120 years old and that he gave his original quirk to AFO while retaining a copy for himself. He also reveals that AFO had indeed chosen Shigaraki as his successor when he foresaw his downfall and he has given his quirk to Shigaraki and has taken a copy for himself.
Another shocking revelation comes from Ujiko when he says that he actually meant for Aizawa to die as he wanted his erasure quirk but the accident years ago killed Shirakumo instead and resulted in him becoming Kurogiri. Present Mic is appalled and visibly disgusted at all these revelations. In the dreamscape, Shigaraki continues walking onto AFO when in one last attempt to stop him, his family holds onto him with his dead hero grandmother, All Might’s teacher and previous OFA holder Nana Shimura making an appearance and holding onto his head confirming the fan theory that one of the hands on Shigaraki’s head was indeed Nana’s. Shigaraki,however decays them all away and continues on to AFO.
The chapter ends with us finally getting a glimpse of our main characters with Deku and team evacuating a city and a shocked Deku being warned by Nana that Shigaraki is coming.
MY HERO ACADEMIA CHAPTER 271 PREDICTIONS:
BNHA Chapter 271 is bound to be very exciting. Firstly, there’s the looming possibility of Shigaraki waking up and killing the heroes. Chapter 270 saw Shigaraki twitching when XLess was checking on him. This could very well mean that he will wake up in my hero academia 271 and the first person who will fall prey to him could be the newly introduced hero XLess. Mic is also in immediate danger. We also saw Deku getting a warning from Nana in BNHA 270. Knowing Deku, this could make Deku and gang run to the hospital to help out the heroes.
We also might see a perspective shift to the PLF mansion in my hero academia 271 where we last saw Tokoyami save Hawks from Dabi. Gigantomachia was also in the mansion waiting for orders from his new master. Shigaraki waking up could also spell doom for those at the mansion as Gigantomachia is widely considered to be an invincible foe. There have also been speculations that Shigaraki will not fully wake up and will be imprisoned at Tartarus which would later result in a huge jailbreak and a takeover of society by the villains.
