The Seven Deadly Sins, also known as Nanatsu no Taizai, will have a new season soon, which is set to debut later this year in Japan.

The announcement was made in the most recent issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine, which publishes the manga of the franchise in Japan. The new anime will be called Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan, scheduled for release in October in the country and will have the cast return. original voice acting.
However, it was not informed which animation studio will be responsible for the new anime. The first two seasons were produced by A-1 Pictures, while the third, highly criticized by fans for the quality of the animation, was in charge of Studio Deen.
It is worth remembering that the manga of The Seven Deadly Sins will have its final chapter released in Japan on Wednesday (25). Nakaba Suzuki, creator of the series, will write a sequel, which should be called Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi – or “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”, in direct translation – and will have a character named Tristan, one of those knights, as protagonist.
Suzuki has also confirmed that he is developing a direct sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins, but it should only be published after finishing Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi.
