Artist draws Grammy winners as Pokémon gym leaders

A Twitter user took advantage of the latest edition of the Grammy, the biggest award in the music industry, and turned the top winners into Pokémon gym leaders .

Internet user Ray Comifuro chose the following artists for the arts: Billie Ellish, Lil Nas X, Ariana Grande and Billy Porter – probably because of the extravagant looks they chose for the ceremony.

“The Elite of the Four in the Grammy League,” joked Comifuro, mentioning the strongest group of trainers from each Pokémon continent. Check it out below:

The internet user also defined the specialization of each one of the “gym leaders”, in addition to choosing a pokémon that best suited each one: poisonous type for Billie Ellish (Muk version Alola); fairy type for Lil Nas X (Granbull); ghost type for Ariana Grande (Dusknoir) and ice type for Billy Porter (Glaceon).

Lil Nas X as Batman villain

Lil Nas X’s completely pink cowboy outfit didn’t go unnoticed by Eisner award-winning artist Erica Henderson who has worked for Marvel and Archie Comics.

In art, the artist took one of the most famous covers of Batman comics – in this case, issue # 475 of Detective Comics – and replaced the Joker with the musician.

Lil Nas X also became known for his extravagant way of dressing, as he likes to wear cowboy clothes with more colorful and modern touches in awards. The artist himself shared the drawing. Look:
