What’s up guys? So this week se see the fight against Mahito getting even more intense in Jujutsu Kaisen as it moves onto Jujutsu Kaisen 131. Read on to find out what happened in this chapter and what might happen in Jujutsu Kaisen 131 but do make sure that you’ve caught up with the manga to avoid getting spoiled by this post!!
JUJUTSU KAISEN 130 Discussion:
The chapter starts where the last chapter left off. Mahito gets inspired by Gojo’s technique and uses a 0.2 seconds long domain expansion which lands him right in front of Sukuna. Mahito’s interactions here with Sukuna are very interesting. We see Sukuna chat with Mahito rather than attacking him while Mahito mocks him and tells him that he will kill Yuji. Sukuna is seen bemused and unimpressed and it looks like he is going to use some sort of a surprise attack on Mahito in the coming chapters. Back to the fight, we have Todo and Yuji facing Mahito.
Mahito attacks Todo first and unfortunately we see Todo getting his left hand cut off by Mahito. This was an effort from Mahito’s part to prevent Todo from clapping his hands and using his techniques again. Mahito also uses Black Falsh against him and aims an attack in his stomach but Todo does manage to channel cursed energy to minimize the damage from the attack and survive it even though he does look seriously injured there. We also see Todo slapping Mahito to activate his technique in defense from Mahito’s domain and succeeding due to a distraction caused by Todo’s locket falling down. It seems to contain a picture of Yuji in it.
With Todo taken out Yuji attacks Mahito who’s having a great time in the battle with power ups being showered on to him. It’s like Mahito is the main character of this manga atleast for now. Mahito uses soul multiplicity and another soul isomer to deal with Yuji who just managed to hit Mahito with a black flash from which Mahito seems to have taken some damage. Yuji battles the isomer as Mahito announces that he has found the true form of his soul and transforms himself into that form. The chapter ends with Yuji preparing to battle a transformed Mahito as he asks Yuji to wish him a Happy Birthday!
JUJUTSU KAISEN 131 Spoilers and Predictions:
We see Mahito transform into what he calls his true form? This form is obviously very strong akin to the final form of some manga villain. Todo is currently out of commission especially after having lost a hand and getting that injury on his stomach so how is Yuji going to deal with Mahito alone? Before Todo arrived we see Yuji barely managing to deal with Mahito properly.
Yuji either got support from Nobara or Todo. This was also before Mahito got all the power ups he has now. So it does look like Sukuna will make an appearance by stitching with Yuji and he’s probably the one going to defeat Mahito ultimately. We don’t know when he might come out but from what we know of Sukuna, he doesn’t take disrespect well. He kills people who disrespect him instantly. Mahito basically went to his own home and insulted him.
Sukuna will not take this lightly and is sure to kill Mahito soon, maybe even in Jujutsu Kaisen 131. There’s also the chance of Geto making an appearance and escaping away with Mahito before Sukuna switches.
