Hi, welcome to my analysis of Dr stone chapter 154, where I will talk about what happened in the latest chapter and make some predictions. If you haven’t caught up with the latest chapters then please do as this post contains spoilers
Dr. Stone Chapter 153 Discussion (Recap):
The chapter begins with Magma summarising the sequence of events that just happened, where he concludes that killing Xeno will be the quickest way to get the corn that they came for. His plan includes rushing into Xenos base and using the one gun they have to assassinate him, however this plan was stopped pretty quickly once they were reminded that Xenos team have immeasurable fire power that a lil pea shooter cannot overcome.
We then start again, this time Tsukasa mapping out the locations on a proper map they made on a wide table, with topography and terrain all mapped out, a proper militaristic strategy meeting where the elite squad weigh up their options and how to proceed next. They start to predict what Xenos team would do, and conclude that moving the boats position would be disadvantageous to them as they could be attacked from the air and would lose their ability to retreat onto land. They then further deduce that the best ways to attack would be like they do in the modern era, where small lightweight heavily armed boats would quickly take over a large vessel with their superior weapons.
This leads Senku to begin the construction of the aircraft carrier which will enable them to engage in a dogfight with another aircraft carrier, and if a boat come,s then the plane can wipe them out as well.
The construction begins, with one of the ships masts removed to create a 20m space for the runway, and whilst they are busy doing this the we pan over to xeno who is busy plotting his next move which he explains. His reasoning to show the spy plane was to force Senkus crew to make the decision to stay put in their location and send Stanley to assassinate the Science user, who is this case they believe is Taiju.
Meanwhile back at the perseus, Senkus and Tsukasa have come up with a plan which is practically the same as Xenos, except they want to capture Xeno, instead of killing him. A small team if formed including tsukasa, Hyoga, Ukyo, and Suika???
With Stanley heading to Dr Taijuu, and Tsukakas group heading towards Xeno, they are inevitably heading for a big showdown.
Dr. Stone Chapter 154 Predictions:
With Tsukasa group heading into the forest, and Stanley going the opposite way, it is inevitable that there will be a massive clash. Stanley having modern weapons, potentially a rifle and other explosives we haven’t seen yet, Tsukasas group really will have their backs to the wall but I imagine Suika will play a key role in victory/keeping her team alive.
I don’t really expect anyone to actually get hurt in this fight, the plot armour is quite strong as seen previously when Stanley used a machine gun and a plane to try and demolish them but literally came of it, so I would be very surprised if anything actually happened here. I expect Stanley will be taken hostage somehow, which will force Xeno to come out himself and face off against the crew directly where he will deduce that Senku is the real scientist.
