What’s up guys? Jujutsu Kaisen brought out the 46th part of the Shibuya Incident this week and we see things get very interesting as we move on to Jujutsu Kaisen 130. JUJUTSU KAISEN 129 Discussion:
This chapter is another example of why Mahito is one of the most interesting villains in a series containing a lot of enigmatic and interesting villains. This week we see Mahito grow more as he makes use of a more nuanced battle technique. The chapter starts with Yuji and Todo fighting Mahito. Todo is seen taking on multiple transfigured humans that Mahito created. These transfigured humans seem to have explosive power and Todo categorizes them as Grade 2 or 3.

Todo however does take all of them down easily leaving Mahito, the original one for Yuji to take care of. Todo is also shown kissing a charm around his neck that could be something important from his past. It’s good to see Todo understanding that even though these were innocent humans, he had no choice but to kill them. Meanwhile Yuji is having a tough time against who’s learning new things and levelling up very easily as we did see him use Black Flash previously. Mahito is however perplexed when Todo emerges victorious against his transfigured humans.

Mahito realizes that Todo is not an easy guy to defeat and decides to rely on his domain expansion. We know from what Gojo said that Domain Expansion is always a last tactic used to defeat an opponent. We know that Mahito was reluctant to use Domain Expansion previously because he’s afraid of alerting Sukuna and getting killed by him. Even if Mahito does exclude Yuji from his domain and use his domain expansio and attack Todo , Yuji could break into he domain or more importantly, Todo could switch with rocks or trees or even Yuji.
This is where Mahito becomes the villain you dread. The kind of villain that’s smart and also learns from his enemies. The chapter ends with Mahito planning to use the 0.2 second domain expansion that was previously used by, you guessed it right, Gojo.It’s interesting how quick a learner Mahito is. This was a technique Gojo previously used to attack curses and not hurt humans in the station. Mahito probably expects to attack Todo before Sukuna notices.
JUJUTSU KAISEN 130 Spoilers And analysis:
We see the battle get more interesting as the chapters progress. Mahito is learning quick. Mahito in a sense is very similar to Shigaraki from My Hero Academia as he’s the kind of villain that grows with the hero and is hence very frightening in himself for this reason. It won’t be overly surprising if Todo does indeed get caught in the expansion and get injured or even die.
We could see the battle end as Yuji runs away with an injured Todo. That battle could go sideways if Sukuna does react and that could very well mean that Mahito will die as a result. But Mahito is too interesting a villain to die so soon so it’s unclear as to what will happen now. Maybe Getou will interfere and escape with Mahito. Previously we also saw the Kyoto school folks but it looks like they’re too far away or maybe that they won’t reach in time. Gojo is still trapped and various other characters are near death or are dead with the fates of some like Maki, Naobito and Inumaki unclear. Shibuya incident has will enter it’s 47th part next week!
